Sir Corvus Crow and the Snow Storm

Sir Corvus Crow

Big headed silly crow carved from American Chestnut, full size and not too detailed.
Draped in a custom made wool coat and sporting a wool top hat.  The Jungle Crow (Corvus macrorhynchos) has an over-sized beak (nose) suitable for this project.

The March 6 Winter Storm left behind some neat sights as
the early morning light started filtering thorough the dense cloud cover.
At 6 AM (below) 9 inches of heavy snow had fallen.

By 8AM we had lost power and the snow weight is evident by the look of the bird wind direction indicator on top of the pergola. The metal wings are folded down.
