Long-Nose Lancetfish Fun Project

I have been on a deviated course away from bird subject art projects due in part because I found myself not being attuned to the task and also given the facts that the economic realities of the times discourage sensible folks from spending their funds on non essential items. The “fish” I am sporadically producing are a byproduct of a new more challenging venue of entertainment that I have adopted…at least for the time being…timber frame structures, studies in design and construction by one person. What is to be discarded as wood waste gets a new life in a water critter wall plank using old formed metal sheet as fins. They aren’t intended for marketing purposes, but anyone is welcome to one on a “Offers Accepted” basis.

The Lancet-fish above is nearly 4’ long and the fins are crafted from old sheet metal formed by hand. They are rarely seen fish or strange creatures that attract my attention or are challenging to recreate.
